Gerhard Talbot is well-qualified Manager with extensive experience and achievements in Plant, Operations and Maintenance Management, in many different fields and a wide range of industries.
Gerhard is a hands-on Manager with a trade in Fitting and Turning, a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a B.Eng Degree (cum laude) in Mechanical Engineering and Certificate in Business Management.
Now a Permanent Resident, he migrated to Australia in January 2008 and served in the Gas and Energy Sector as Mechanical and Project Engineer and in 2009 was promoted to General Manager of a Gas and Pipe Company operating across Central Queensland.
In South Africa, as Production Manager for a large match factory, managing over 400 staff, Gerhard was instrumental in the turnaround of the Plant to a profitable, world class organisation with production exceeding target.
Gerhard moved to Dalby in June 2010 to join DBRL.
